Sev ist ein indisches Knabbergebäck aus gebratenen Nudeln, oft mit Hülsenfrüchten, Nüssen, manchmal Popcorn und verschiedenen Gewürzen. Man knabbert es auf Parties, zu Bier oder Wein oder zu zweit im Bett. Bei der letzteren Möglichkeit sollte man sich zumindest bei den scharfen Sevs vorher einigen, wer aufsteht und etwas zu trinken holt, wenn der Hals brennt.
