Severus Snape war in den 70er Jahren Teenager.
Er ist wie auch Lily unter Muggeln aufgewachsen.
Er hat, wegen seiner Freundschaft mit Lily - sie ist die einzige Freundin, die er je hatte - so wie sie immer Top of the pops geschaut , wenn er in den Ferien zu Hause war und fernsehen konnte. Wegen der Verbindung zu Lily ist er dann sein Leben bei der Musik seiner Jugend geblieben und hat solche Sachen wie T-Rex gehört.

Dumbledore mochte, da er auch bei Süßigkeiten immer einen guten Geschmack hatte und der Kultur seiner nichtmagischen Mitmenschen sehr wohlwollend gegenüberstand, selbstverständlich die Beatles.

Draco Malfoy ist einer, der gerne den bösen Jungen raushängen läßt. Ihm gefiele daher natürlich die Musik von anderen Posern, die sich selbst als Bad Guys inszenieren: Rammstein, Eminem oder artverwandtes. Mit etwas Glück auch Marylin Manson - aber das wäre Draco dann vielleicht doch schon zu extrem. Außerdem würde er sich niemals mit Muggelkultur abgeben.

Arthur Weasley hingegen liebt alles, was mit Muggeltechnik zu tun hat. Es läßt ihn über den Einfallsreichtum nichtmagischer Menschen stauen. Besonders liebt er elektronische Instrumente: E-Gitarren, die ein Kabel und einen Stecker haben zum Beispiel. Der Inbegriff der Musikwerdung mugglischer Findigkeit ist natürlich Kraftwerk. Könnte Arthur Deutsch, würden ihm auch die Texte außerordentlich gut gefallen "Fahrn fahrn fahrn auf der Autobahn"
